Women's Basketball

Leeds Carnegie women's basketball programme are entering in to their third year competing at the top, in both the National League and BUC's Premiership. Following the success of the women's programme in the 2009-10 where the 1st team cemented themselves amongst the nations elite with the BUCS Premiership (north) title and silver medal finish in the playoffs and the 2nd team receiving a third straight promotion in BUCS and league title complemented by the BUCS conference cup 2010-11 promises to be one of the most exciting in the women's short history.
The 2010-11 season will also see a change in coaching staff as James Bambury moves on to extremely coveted position at the Royal Military College in Canada. Joining Leeds Carnegie from the Manchester Mystics is another young and dynamic coach Chris Straker who will be looking to continue the incredible strides made by coach Bambury throughout his term.
