How much will it cost to do a research degree?

The cost of a research degree programme varies dependent on the type and level of award you study and whether you are a full-time or part-time student.

How do I pay my fees?

There are different methods in paying your fees and you’ll need to make yourself aware of these methods.

The guidance available here, or in the Payment of Tuition Fees booklet, should help you.

Will I be able to earn extra money by teaching for the University?

There are no guarantees that teaching positions will be available. If there are teaching vacancies then you would need to formally apply for them. Teaching, demonstrating or other work will be undertaken within the provisions of a separate employment contract.

Are there any scholarships available to support my studies?

There are no guarantees that funding or scholarships are available, but if you want further guidance please contact the Research Administrator.
