Results Online student help
Welcome to the student help pages for Results Online.
This page provides you with details of the most common problems associated with Results Online and how to get help so that you can access the service.
There is a link for a user's guide in the right-hand column on this page and there is also a link below back to the Results Online login screen (use this link if you are a student. Have your computer ID and password ready).
If you have any general feedback about the service, please e-mail the University at onlineresultsfeedback@leedsmet.ac.uk. Please do not use this e-mail in relation to login queries or queries relating to your results, as your e-mail will not be directed to the department associated with your course or problem. Please see the help sections below.
I can't login to Results Online
The computer ID and password for Results Online are the same as the user ID and password you use to log into the Student Portal. More information on University ID cards can be found here.
If you are unable to log into Results Online, or if you are having problems with your username and/or password being recognized, this may simply be due to the service being busy and you are advised to try again later.
However, if the problem persists please contact the Library helpdesk or your local IT helpdesk, as there may be a problem with your user ID and/or password.
I've logged into Results Online but can't see my results
If you have logged into Results Online but your results are not showing, this is probably due to one of the following reasons:
- Your results have not yet been released into Results Online by your course administrative team.
- There is an outstanding action relating to your results.
- There are no results to display.

Your results have not yet been released into Results Online by your course administrative team:
- The Board of Examiners for your course might not have been held yet.
- It might not have been 5 working days since the Board of Examiners was held; results are usually released five working days following the Board.
- There might be an outstanding action or query regarding your results, though this should normally be resolved within the 5 working days.
Your results have been removed from Results Online:
- There may have been a change to the results that were originally released into Results Online. These will need to be re-released by your course administrative team.
- There may have been an error in the results released into Results Online (in which case they will be changed and re-released by your course administrative team).
- If this is the case, Results Online will automatically notify the member of staff so that the necessary action can be taken.
There are no results to display:
- No results are available yet (e.g. if you have not yet finished the module).
- The Board of Examiners for your course might not have been held yet.
- You have not done any assessments this year.
Results Online is not working:
During peak periods it may take longer than usual to log into Results Online.
It is also possible, though unlikely, that Results Online may be unavailable during peak periods due to a large number of students checking their results at the same time. During these periods University staff may also be using the University's information systems to input and release results. If you are unable to access Results Online do try and log in outside of peak hours (e.g. 9am-5pm). If the problem persists contact the Library helpdesk or your local IT helpdesk.
