How to apply
If you've made the decision to get involved in postgraduate study, the next step is knowing how to apply. For most of our full and part-time courses you need to apply direct to us - and our Course Finder will direct you to the application form you need.
In some cases, though, you need to apply through other routes, and these are:
- Teaching Training
If you are applying for a teacher training course, you will apply to the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR). Our Course Finder will direct you to the online application form you need for these courses – hit ‘Apply Now’. - MA Social Work
For this course you apply via UCAS. When you select this course on our Course Finder, you will be directed to the online application form you need – hit ‘Apply Now’. - PG Dip Legal Practice
For full-time entry to this course you should apply to the LPC Central Applications Board. Part-time applicants should apply directly to Leeds Metropolitan. - Chartered Institute of PR - Advanced Certificate & Advanced Diploma
For this course you should apply directly to the CIPR.
Research programmes
Before you apply to get involved in one of our research programmes, you need to discuss your chosen subject with an academic member of staff. You'll find the contact details you need on our research pages.
When to apply
For the majority of our postgraduate courses, there are no specific deadlines, but we recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible. Courses start in January, September and in some cases May. You can check our Course Finder for start dates.
If you are applying to a course in the Health or Education subject areas, there may be a specific deadline.
