A Leeds Met student has entered a competition to land a job with a top events management company.

Emma Williams, a final year events management student at our University, is in the running for The  Eventice, which aims to find the best events management graduate in the country.

Watch Emma's video application to join The Eventice below:

The competition is open to any final year student currently studying for an events management degree, and the winner will land a job with ExCel London.

Successful applicants to The Eventice will be tested on their knowledge of the industry, their ability to cope under pressure and, most importantly, their ability to organise an event.

Those selected to take part in the competition will be split into groups and given a brief to create an event. They will then be asked to come to London from March 1-3, to present their ideas and take part in a number of challenging events management tasks, which will be marked by a team of industry experts over the three days.
