B-movie is a must see

A Leeds Met film graduate is drawing inspiration from classic 1950s science fiction movies for his latest feature.
Kenneth 'KD' Barker graduated from the Northern Film School in 1995 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Film and Television Production.
He is the writer and director of 'On the Shoulders of Giants', which is currently being shot on a budget of £3,000 by his film company, Water On The Rock Ltd, in a disused church hall in the Hunslet area of the city.
KD Barker's previous film Catalina was sold as a DVD in America, and it's hoped that On the Shoulders Of Giants will be picked up in the same way.
Watch the trailer for Catalina below:
In the spirit of Hollywood greats such as Roger Corman, Ed Wood and Fred M. Wilcox, On The Shoulders Of Giants will tell the tale of Commander Jane Altaire, played by Sarah E Wood, who travels 45,000 light years through space in the spaceship Andromeda to the planet Theta-25L.
During the voyage her captain dies and Commander Altaire takes over. On Theta-25L she and her crew find the Leviathan, another space ship which disappeared 15 years ago with its captain N'tron Zepethar, played by Warwick St John.
Production manager Stuart Cummins said: "Zepethar was a child-genius who invented a device - the Einstein-Rosen (ER) - which allowed space ships to travel through wormholes and cover vast distances.
"Fifteen years later they have managed to rebuild this ER drive, fit it into a new ship, and find the Leviathan. Zepethar is the sole survivor.
"When Commander Altaire begins searching for answers to the Leviathan's demise it soon becomes apparent both Zepethar and Theta-25L harbour terrifying secrets."
The entire film is being filmed shot in front of a green screen in the church hall, with the space backgrounds being added in later using computers.
