Your business idea could be worth £2000

Leeds Met's Business Start-Up is offering students and recent graduates a chance to win £2000 prize money to help develop their business idea with the Business Concept Competition.
The competition is an annual event run by Business Start-Up. In addition to the £2000 prize money, the winner will have the opportunity to represent Leeds Met at the Regional Enterprise Awards in February 2010 where they will compete against start-ups from other Yorkshire Universities to claim up to £5000 in prizes.
Entrants will need to complete a written application form (of no more than 1500 words). Finalists will then be short-listed and asked to present their idea to a panel of judges.
All entrants must be pre-trading or have been trading for less than twelve months on 10 February 2010.
The closing date for applications is Friday 8 January 2010 at 5pm.
Competition Timeline:
. 8 January 2010 - Application Deadline
. 22 January 2010 - Finalists will present to Judges
. 10 February 2010 - Regional Enterprise Awards, York Racecourse
