Governance Services TeamGovernance and Legal Affairs Based in room the Grange, Headingley Campus, the Governance and Legal Affairs team is responsible for managing the business of University boards and committees and for embedding the principles of good governance across the institution as well as handling the legal affairs of the University. We provide legal advice, guidance and support to the University on all branches of English law and have responsibility for drafting, administering and reviewing the University's general and student regulations. We support the University's executive bodies and subsidiary companies and have responsibility for managing the University's relationship with the Students' Union. We undertake a number of projects designed to enhance the effectiveness of aspects of the University's governance and management. The Governance and Legal Affairs team is responsible to the Registrar and Secretary, through the Head of Governance and Legal Affairs. |
