Bike Buddy and Cycle Route Planning Service
Leeds City Council offer a Bike Buddy adult cycle training and personalised cycle route planning service.
For cyclists wanting to cycle to work, personalised cycle route planning can be provided, with maps of suggested routes and an accompanied bike ride between home and the workplace. Before setting off, one of the Leeds City Council experienced road safety cycle officers will carry out a basic bike maintenance check, followed by some road safety awareness cycle training and some advice on cycle equipment and cycling at busy junctions. An accompanied cycle ride is then undertaken.
The current charge for the individual Bike Buddy service is £10 + VAT. More information on the Bike Buddy service and cycle route planning is available from the Leeds City Council Road Safety Team on 0113 2475198 or email road.safety@leeds.gov.uk.
Staff Cycle Network
