Located on both campuses, we can provide you with a range of information to give you the help and support you need. Student Wellbeing Centre
Our team is made up of experienced counsellors, mental health and faith advisers. We are here to support you with any problems you may have during your time at Leeds Metropolitan. We can help with exam stress, bereavement, relationships, anxiety, eating disorders and any other issues you would like to get in touch about.†
Earn while you learn
Our†student and graduate employability service will help you find part-time work while studying. We are also on hand when you start looking for full-time employment after you graduate.
We offer a two-week event called Futures Fest†- it's a range of events designed to build your employability skills and maximise your employment potential.
We positively†welcome disabled students, including students with specific learning difficulties, mental health conditions and long-term health issues. Around 3000 of our students have identified themselves as having a disability or impairment that affects their studies. Our experienced disability advisers†can discuss and facilitate reasonable adjustments that enable independent study, and advise on Disabled Studentsí Allowance (DSA) applications if appropriate. We also have an accredited Assessment Centre that can undertake your Needs Assessment as part of the DSA process.

Student money & advice
We provide confidential specialist advice about student funding to current and prospective students. We can help you with general advice about budgeting, debt, welfare entitlement and about the financial implications of changing your course, withdrawing or taking time out from study.
International student advice
We offer help and guidance relating to most aspects of your time at Leeds Metropolitan, including settling into life in the UK, immigration, employment, financial difficulties, childcare facilities and emotional support.
