Getting help when and where you need it.
There’s always someone here to help you at Leeds Metropolitan. We have support networks right across our University staffed by trained and experienced professionals. If you need information, guidance or just someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to contact us.
If you’re applying to us and need extra support, do let us know before you arrive.
We positively welcome disabled students and we currently have around 1,700 students who identify themselves as having a disability or a specific learning difficulty.
If you're considering applying to us, get in touch before you apply to discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to help you with your study. We can also assist you with an application for a Disabled Students' Allowance.
If you experience any issues that have an impact on your studies or your relationships, our Student Wellbeing Centre offers a free service that offers you a safe, confidential time and place to talk with our experienced team of counsellors who are trained to listen and help you.
You’ll get to know our friendly Student Hub staff from your first day at Leeds Metropolitan, as they’re your first point of contact for all non academic information. Whether you need help finding your way around the University, or accessing support services such as financial advice and counselling, simply pop along to our Student Hubs at City Campus or Headingley Campus.
