Overview
At Leeds Business School students have the option to undertake paid work experience for a (minimum) period of 48 weeks in the
third year of their degree. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable experience so ensuring that they are
much more employable upon graduating. It is a proven fact that it also enhances their final year of study.

Contact with the placement office
The placements office remains open throughout the year, five days a week and there is always someone to help both students and
employers. Every student on placement is allocated a visting tutor (also referred to as a placement tutor) who can be contacted
at anytime during the course of the placement.
If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, we’ll arrange for you to be visited urgently. The visit also provides an
opportunity to discuss assignments, if you have to submit one, and your dissertation.
