Faculty Enteprise Pioneer Maria Jemicz and BA Business Creation & Enterprise graduate Sarah Parrott are attending an intensive four day programme at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts, USA.
This programme of training provides an introduction to case-method teaching and alternative teaching approaches. Attendees are encouraged to identify, plan, and personalise their own entry (or re-entry) strategy into academia and to improve as teachers, learners, researchers, colleagues and entrepreneurs. They identify and explore new content, programmes and materials and are exposed to the realities of the cyberspace revolution.

Babson College is a recognised leader in entrepreneurship education. The programme provides an introduction to case-method teaching and alternative teaching methodologies.
Key outcomes are bench marking Leeds Met entrepreneurship training, research networking and exploring a possible European Symposium to be held at Leeds Met in 2010. It marks another step towards becoming a leading enterprise university.
During the week you will be able to follow their progress through Maria Jemicz's Twitter account.
