Careers

Our continued success depends on our commitment to the recruitment, retention, development and reward of a talented and diverse workforce who are able to make valuable contributions to our increasingly enterprising and innovative University.

Our University is committed to providing personal and professional development opportunities for colleagues as well as the students who study here. We have a number of flexible and exciting initiatives and opportunities for staff to develop themselves, their career and their working life. We have long been recognised as an Investor in People and more recently became an accredited centre for the Institute of Leadership and Management.

A set of personal attributes and behaviours underpin our approach to people development which focus on both improving our performance and the experiences of our students. We celebrate the exceptional success of our talented and hardworking colleagues through an annual award ceremony.

We are committed to enabling our people to deliver high levels of performance through the annual Performance and Development Review (PDR) process. This process ensures that we are all working towards clearly defined performance objectives and development goals and receive appropriate feedback throughout the year.
