Leeds Metropolitan is one of the leading providers of tourism education in the UK. We are first UK university to be awareded Centre of Excellence for tourism education by the Institute of Travel & Tourism. 

Tourism is one of the world's fastest growth industries with all nations engaged in domestic and international programmes to promote their towns, cities and countries.  As this market continues to develop and people choose locations as both business and recreational destinations, so will the demands on the industry grow, and there will be an ongoing need to recruit capable and effective tourism mangers, with the skills and experience o successfully manage a tourism organisation.
