Meet and Greet Service
If you arrive at Leeds/Bradford International Airport or Manchester Airport between 23rd and 30th January 2012 between the hours of 09:00 and 21:00 you can register for the Meet and Greet service.
Q. What is the Meet and Greet Service?
A. This is a welcome service offered by our current students who will meet you on arrival, guide you to the easiest method of transport to your accommodation, help you with any problems and answer your questions.
Q. What does the Service cost?
A. The Meet and Greet Service is free of charge but you will need to pay for your taxi journey from Leeds/Bradford Airport (approximately £20) or your train from Manchester Airport (approximately £20). However on one day only, Tuesday 24th January 2012, we will run free transfers by coach from Manchester Airport.
Q. Do I need to book the Meet and Greet or the Transfer Service?
A. Yes to use the service you must book your place at least 3 days in advance by completing the online form. You will receive confirmation of your booking by email and information about the service including an emergency contact number to contact if you are delayed.
Q. What are the best dates to arrive?
A. Our International Welcome Programme will start on 25th January 2012 so it is best to arrive just before that if at all possible. We will run free transfers from Manchester Airport by coach on 24th January 2012.
Q. How do I recognise the Meet and Greet Service team?
A. Meet and Greet staff will be wearing purple Leeds Metropolitan University tops.
