Student Placements

For the majority of our full-time Language Degrees the whole of the third year is spent either studying, working or teaching as a language assistant in a country where your main language of study is spoken.

Placement locations vary from year to year, but have recently included working or studying in: Aix en provence, Brussels, Granada, Lyon, Madrid, Mannheim, Munchen, Nurnberg, Paris, Quebec, St Etienne, Stuttgart, Valladolid and Santiago, Chile.

A period abroad gives you the opportunity to improve your fluency, learn new skills and immerse yourself in the culture and daily life of the host country. The experience gained during the year will help you to enhance your career prospects and self-confidence.
