International exchanges
As a Leeds Metropolitan University student, you have the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters as part of your degree.
Leeds Metropolitan is partnered with universities all over the world with whom we have agreements meaning that if you study with us you can apply to spend one or two semesters studying overseas without paying any additional tuition fees (just the normal Leeds Metropolitan fees).
International Exchanges
Key features of the International Exchange programme:
- Study for one or two semesters in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico or Japan
- Exchanges are usually in the 2nd year so you need to start thinking about it now
- Full credit transfer

Don’t forget that you would need to apply for the International Exchange Programme during your first year of study at Leeds Metropolitan and you need to make sure you could fund your time away including flights, accommodation, visas and other bits and pieces. The Study Abroad Office will guide you through the process.
