Student Placements

A sandwich course is a 48-week work placement and is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the industry sector of your choice. 

This combination of a qualification and experience shows prospective employers that you not only have an in-depth understanding of their industry but also the practical skills they need.

At the UK Centre for Events Management, many of our students complete placements during their second year of study. Student work-placements provide valuable learning opportunities in which you can apply your academic knowledge to real life situations, as well as enhance your career opportunities and boost your self-confidence.

Our dedicated Placement Office team works with a range of events organisations regionally, nationally and internationally across a wide-range of industry sectors including Arts, Charities, City Councils, Event Production, Hotels and Venues.

Some of our recent students spent their placement working for internationally renowned companies such as Manchester United and on established events such as The Good Food Show, the MOBO's and The Clothes Show.
