Personal Statement
Although I started at Leeds Met only in February of 2009, I have been involved in education since 1983. I feel I have benefited from the experience of working in a range of subjects, institution types and countries.

It is my priority to ensure that the courses I run or teach on equip students adequately for the future they envisage, whether that be a further course or a career.

Both to empathise with the students' concerns and to develop personally, I have continued to identify areas of interest for my own study. I hope to continue that by enrolling on a Master's degree course here at Leeds Met.

Tony is fully qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language in accordance with the British Council's TEFLQ standard.
