Personal Statement
I have been teaching English since 1976 and have worked in the British Councils in Greece, Belgium and the Sultanate of Oman. I lived in the Middle East for 15 years and was the Assistant Director of Studies at the British Council in Muscat with responsibility for staff development.
Having became a teacher trainer in 1985, I was more than happy to continue in this role when I joined Leeds Metropolitan University in 1998. I have also taught General, Business and Academic English both at Leeds Met and abroad.
I recently finished my Masters degree where my focus of interest was the development of reflection with international students.
Sue is fully qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language in accordance with the British Council's TEFLQ standard.
