Teaching Roles  

I teach on our biggest course, International Foundation Year, which prepares international students to take their degrees at a UK university. I have taught on most of the modules for this course, and developed from scratch the English Skills modules. I have delivered a Knowledge Transfer training course to an external company, developed an Online Resources Room for the School of Languages, and this year hope to be part of the new Online Interpreting Courses. Prior to Leeds Met, my main teaching experience was within ESOL - teaching mainly migrant workers,refugees, and local residents.

Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) (merit)
Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language [TEFL] (distinction)
MA Linguistics and English Language Teaching (distinction)
