Stephen leads the undergraduate personal and professional development modules where he develops students' abilities through their transformative journey to self-actualisation, self-determination and self-criticism, and thus autonomy in peace, development and international relations.

Throughout Stephen's career he have been involved in various innovative approaches to learning.

His research interests lie in action research, evaluation methods, ethical being, transformative learning, conflict resolution, counselling skills, empathic being, reflective practice and critical thinking.
