Why did you chose Leeds Met?
The UK offers masters courses, particularly the MBA, for one year. In order to gain admission to a UK university for an MBA you have to have three years of related work experience. This ensures that you a pursuing your course with like-minded people who are in pursuit of the same goals as yourself.

I knew I wanted to study in the UK, so I started researching British universities. Leeds Met came highly recommended and had an excellent reputation. I was even more impressed by the fact that Leeds Met had a South Asia office in New Delhi which made access to the university, applications and information so much more convenient. They were very helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Leeds Met became the obvious choice.

What do you think of Leeds Met?
Leeds Met has been a great support in all aspects. The business start-up program is particularly helpful because I would like to start up my own company in the future. The careers counselling is very helpful and had many suggestions about my career plans.

I live in the Mary Morris international residence. It is a very multi-cultural atmosphere and provides a wonderful opportunity to meet people from many different countries.

The international exposure that I experience at Leeds Met I believe will shape me into a more well-rounded person. When I return to my home country I want people to see me as a better person for this exposure.

The Scholarship
Studying in the UK is very expensive. Without a scholarship I would not have been able to afford to come here. I really did want to advance my career to reach for the highest goals and I knew a British education was the best way to achieve this. So, I applied for the scholarship in order to place myself on the road towards my ambition and future.

I was so happy when I found out I won a scholarship to Leeds Met. It’s the best accolade a student can receive until they attain their degree. The confidence in winning a scholarship to Leeds Met has made me realise that I can achieve anything I strive for.

My friends and family were so happy for me when I won. It was also a relief to them because without the scholarship they could not have afforded to send me here. My parents also recognised that in winning the scholarship I have proved that I am hardworking and dedicated, which made them more proud and equally dedicated to send me to the UK to do my MBA.
