Why did you choose to study at Leeds Met?
I chose to study in the UK because of the well known prestigious universities and education. Leeds Met is well recognised and known for having a very good Business School and offers many courses not offered at other universities.
I have already completed a degree course at Leeds Met and I really wanted to stay here for another year to complete a masters course
Scholarship
I wanted to lessen my parents’ financial burden so I decided to apply for the scholarship. When I found out I had won a scholarship to Leeds Met I was over the moon. I even cried when I called my parents to let them know the news. I never thought I would win!
A scholarship from Leeds Met means my parents are more proud of me than ever! My parents feel that with the extra money saved due to the scholarship they can now focus on my siblings needs, as they are also at university.
What do you think of Leeds Met?
Leeds Met combines an extensive and excellent education package with outstanding facilities, reasonable fees and a beautiful campus. What more could you ask for in a university!
I received a considerable amount of support from the Leeds Met International team. I had worked with them before as a Student Ambassador so I was very appreciative of the aid they provided me. I worked one-on-one with a member of the International office. She offered me advice and support and made integrating into the university so much easier. The personal attention one gets from Leeds Met is un-surpassed.
The most positive experience since I’ve been here has to be the interaction between students, faculty and staff. The Leeds Met staff have made studying here so easy and comfortable.
My home country of Malaysia does not offer such courses as Management Consultancy. When I return to Malaysia I intend on taking with me the excellent education and standards set by Leeds Met and pioneer for universities over there to offer such beneficial courses!
Aspirations for the future
After I go back to Malaysia and work in a large company practising Management Consultancy. I also intend to pioneer for universities over there to offer similar beneficial courses that Leeds Met offers. I know that being a product of the excellent education standards set by Leeds Met I will be successful at anything I decide to do in life.
