Our Scholarship Winners:
2005 Scholarship Award Winner, Dinuke Ponweera
Dinuke was overjoyed to hear that he had won a scholarship in September this year. "I had done some research about universities in the UK and found that Leeds Met offers a great environment for study and MBAs from Leeds Business School are recognised as an excellent qualification among employers. I applied for the course in August and then in September I heard I had won a scholarship. I was really overjoyed."

Dinuke began his MBA course in October this year and is already enjoying the course and has settled in well. After completing the course he plans to try and find some work experience in Europe before going back to work in his home country of Sri Lanka.
"My MBA will be great for getting jobs. Recently I took part in a residential weekend as part of the course and I feel that I am developing personal skills as well as business knowledge. You don't get to do that on some of the other MBA courses offered by other universities. It was definately a good choice to come to Leeds Met".
