"I saw the scholarship opportunities on the website. The application form was straightforward; I had to write about why I wanted to do an MSc in Accounting. When I got the scholarship I couldn't believe it! Without the scholarship it would have been very difficult to come here!"

Andreea completed a BA International Business degree at Leeds Met and wanted to do an masters course which was analytical and scientific based and which would lead to good job opportunities, so she chose to do an MSc in Accounting. Andreea chose the Business School at Leeds Met because of its excellent reputation for accounting courses. She is enjoying her time at Leeds Met this year.
"I'm not the kind of person to sit and read for hours in the library on my own so I like to have many breaks in the refectory where I meet my friends and get to know other people on the course. After lectures I go home. I live with my best friend from Romania in Hyde Park and there are three other Romanians living in our street but our other two housemates are British, they're really nice."
"I often go to the gym. I eat early and unlike other students I don't really go to the pub. I hate feeling hungover, I prefer active things like dancing! I also like shopping, I can't believe how many offers there are for students - It's amazing! You get money off nearly everything!"
