Studying in Finland was the most amazing and totally fantastic life-enhancing period of my life, and was definitely the best decision I have ever made! I had such a great experience, making friends with people from every country in Europe . One of the most special things was how cross-cultural I have become, accepting many different views and opinions about so many different issues. It was an interesting and challenging experience studying in a foreign university, as the working methods are different. There was more group work and assessments were more regular, in the form of group reports and presentations. It was interesting and fun though! I also feel that it will be useful when I apply for jobs, as I can say I have lived and studied overseas, experiencing different things.
I could not have made more from my experience than I did, taking every opportunity. I did lots of travelling, visiting countries that I have lots of interesting stories to tell of - Russia, Sweden, Lapland, Estonia and Latvia . I would recommend study abroad. It is something you wouldn’t regret, but just leave with lifelong memories, many new friends, and as a changed person in a very positive way.
