Volviendo a Inglaterra después de mi estancia en Granada estaba feliz de ver a mi familia y amigos, la cerveza era barata, y el tiempo suave, sin demasiado calor.   Sin embargo, no pasó mucho tiempo sin que la melancolía "post-ERASMUS" me afectase.  Me parecía como nada había cambiado en mi pueblo o con mis amigos.   Hasta algunos parecían ofenderse de que yo había experimentado otro tipo de vida y minimizaron mi logro diciendo que mi estancia en Granada fue sólo "unas largas vacaciones".   Pero nada me molestó ya que yo había aprendido a abordar temas más importantes que la envidia de algunas personas de mente cerrada.

Returning home after my placement in Granada I was happy to see family and friends, beer was cheap and the weather comfortable, no heatwaves.   But after a while I started to feel a "post-ERASMUS" melancholy.   Nothing had changed for my home town or friends.   Some even seemed offended because I'd experienced a different type of life and they belittled my achievements saying I'd just been on a long holiday in Granada.  But none of this bothered me as I'd learned to tackle much bigger problems in Granada than dealing with individuals with closed minds.
