We, Romy and Sarah are both Level 6 Entertainment Management students at Leeds Metropolitan University. Recently we travelled to Dresden (Germany) to promote our course and to take part at the fair "KarriereStart", the biggest educational fair in Middle Germany. Every year 20,000 people visit this event to inform themselves about apprenticeship, study possibilities and further education. In addition we gave a presentation at the "EWS Dresden", a private school specialised in economics and languages and a partner of Leeds Met.

During our trip we talked to a lot of students who had already thought of coming to Leeds. We also talked to people who had never even heard of the possibility to study Entertainment Management. The people were very interested and due to our experience we gave new information and reinforced the students' decision to study at Leeds Met. This was a very interesting trip for us, because the people of the EWS gave us a warm welcome and were happy to receive first-hand experience. Also the fair was a successful event, with a lot of interested people. We are glad that we contributed to a great future of the partnership between the EWS in Dresden and Leeds Met.
