'Meet the Management'

Innovation North was delighted to welcome students to 'Meet the Management' when two major music business figures Geoff Barradale and Simon Napier-Bell joined us to talk about their careers, discuss the future of the industry and answer questions.

Geoff Barradale
Geoff Barradale is a musician and songwriter who is currently the manager of two of Britain's biggest bands, Reverend and The Makers and Arctic Monkeys.

Simon Napier-Bell
Simon Napier-Bell has had a career in the music business spanning over 40 years during which time he has been a record producer, label owner and manager of, Asia, Marc Bolan, Japan, Wham and The Yardbirds. He is also a highly regarded author whose books include Black Vinyl, White Powder, a history of the British music industry, and I'm Coming to Take You to Lunch, the story of how Wham became the first western band to play in communist China.
