Venturefest 2010

"Virtual Runner" is a tool for teaching physiological processes during sports activity. Professor Reinhold Behringer has developed the software game to allow the player to perform running activity within a given distance.
The current prototype has been developed by former Innovation North student Abraham Smith and is due to be demonstrated at Venturefest 2010, on Wednesday 10 February. The event will bring together science, technology, and knowledge entrepreneurs from the Yorkshire region.
This collaborative project between Innovation North and Carnegie, has been funded by the Yorkshire Concept Proof-Of-Concept Fund and supported by Teaching Quality Enhancement Fund (TQEF).
