Overview
Music Technology explores the use of innovative sound and audio effects technology as used in the arts and cultural industries. This includes contemporary music, performing arts, visual arts, and live installations, such as 'DJs' and 'VJs' in a club setting.
The course offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with visual designers, programmers and technologists to develop tools and techniques for music performance, composition and audio processing. It also integrates well with other aspects of the creative and media industries, such as digital animation, video, games, interactive media, music and audio.

Entry requirements
In addition to the University entry requirements, you will require either a first degree in a related subject with evidence of a substantial technological component, or in a technological subject with evidence of creative ability, or a relevant professional qualification with supporting evidence of appropriate work through a professional portfolio.
