Faculty partners, such as Black Dyke Band, give you the chance to take part in extra-curricular projects through voluntary work and local community activities, live performances and technical support.

The composer, Gustav Mahler, is celebrating his 150th birthday! Professor Reinhold Behringer has created a recording of a whole symphony on his home PC using instrumental sound samples!

Creative Technologies Music students listened to a guest lecture from Dennis Weinreich - Pinewood Studio and Dave Turner - Pepperpost Soho, who presented the typical Post Production workflow and the importance of Sound Technology in making films.
Guest Lecture - Chris Difford
On Thursday 19 November, double Ivor Novello Award winner Chris Difford delivered on song writing to a full lecture theatre. It was a moment to remember for all in attendance.
