We promote the creative application of a broad range of visual and interactive media technology, equipping you with professional enterprising skills and expertise. Our dynamic range of subject areas include interactive media and the web, games design, animation, special effects, broadcasting, digital imaging and photographic journalism.

Guest lectures, workshops, placements and partnership opportunities, together with practical and product-based projects offer industry insights.

You will have access to extensive Mac and PC labs and professional video, audio and photographic equipment, including panoramic 'blue screen' studios. Using the latest technology you will explore professional delivery and production techniques for multimedia, games and animation, video, radio, motion capture and photography.

Teaching is carried out by practicing creative technologists, whose visual research and practical experimentation ensure you remain at the forefront of technological developments in the constantly evolving visual and interactive media arena.

Congratulations to Sam Holguin, Neil Beggs, Eleanor Hewitt and Jessica Wong for coming away with two first prize awards, and one second prize for their game, Crobot Wars.
Graduate Scheme Acceptance Success
BSc Multimedia Technlogy's Alan Klein has just been accepted onto the graduate scheme, 'Gen Up North', which is run by Glasgow-based TRC Media.
National Award in Games
The brand new Digital Artist 2009 competition, have awarded Innovation North lecturer Rory McLeish as the winner in Games Design for his work on the Armoured Kzin Warrior.
