PG Cert/PG Dip/MSc Games Design

Overview   The games industry is one of today's most dynamic and fast-moving creative sectors. To be successful, the games designer must be skilled in the creative use of emerging technology. In addition to a thorough knowledge of the theory and background of game play you will develop 2D and 3D animation skills and be able to develop your ideas within interactive environments.   Through our close industrial links you will be presented with real world projects and scenarios to mirror industry practice. You will also work alongside colleagues from across the scheme in collaborative interdisciplinary groups to develop your professional portfolio.

Entry Requirements

In addition to the University entry requirements, you will require either a first degree in a media/arts-related subject with evidence of a substantial technological component, or in a technological subject with evidence of creative ability, or a relevant professional qualification with supporting evidence of appropriate work through a professional portfolio.
