Overview

Technological innovations have redefined how films are made and the way special effects are created. This course will allow you to develop your specialist skills and knowledge of digital technology. It will provide you with an opportunity to use some new digital tools, and develop your skills, methods and techniques in the use of this exciting technology both creatively and technically.

You will produce professional quality products, working on production and post-production special effects using state-of-the-art digital tools and solutions. This course will offer you the opportunity to build and develop your existing portfolio of work to help you break into this innovative industry.

Entry Requirements

In addition to the University entry requirements, you will require either a free degree in a related subject with evidence of a substantial technological component, or in a technological subject with evidence of creative ability, or a relevant professional qualification with supporting evidence of appropriate work through a professional portfolio.
