This module investigates the use of programmable/scriptable VR applications for the control and generation of content within desktop VR and interactive 3D authoring systems and develops programming skills to build stand-alone VR applications.
You will cover topics including:
- The development and control of desktop VR and interactive 3D authoring systems
- Methods of developing original interactive environment applications
Learning outcomes
On completion of this module you should be able to:
- Critically evaluate current programmable technologies of VR products
- Demonstrate a critical awareness of programmable systems of control and content generation for desktop VR and interactive 3D authoring applications
- Produce a prototype interactive environment application using desktop VR and interactive 3D authoring tools
