BSc (Hons) Computer Security & Ethical Hacking

Course Overview:

This course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge to help secure computer systems against malicious and illegal attacks.

Ethical hackers are network and computing specialists who are able to identify then remedy weaknesses in computer systems.  They work within the law to 'hack' or 'penetrate' systems using the same techniques as those used for illegitimate purposes.  Because of this, you will explore ethical and legal issues in some depth alongside your technical work.

Through our link with SEC-1, a Leeds based security company offering professional training in Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures, we have developed exciting hands-on curriculum in current use by professional computing specialists.
