Sharing Supply Chain Secrets: Developing Transparency Professor Lamming will explore the difficulties experienced by managers in supply relationships in dealing with strategic information. Established approaches appear to be based upon notional customer superiority and supplier acquiescence - resulting in unnecessarily high transaction costs. The presentation will include an account of current work in the Centre for Research in Strategic Purchasing and Supply which is developing practical ways of changing this situation, and a conceptual model for the principle of transparency.
