Research Support Unit Manager
Sue Rooke is the Manager of the Faculty Research Support Unit (FRSU). The focus of the FRSU is to establish an administrative infrastructure and systems to map research across the Faculty; providing administrative support including project management, financial guidance and support for research centres, individual researchers, and the development of new research proposals and grant applications.
A qualified and experienced administrator, Sue previously worked within the Centre for Men's Health for several years and has provided administrative support to the high profile Self Care and People in Public Health research projects.
Sue previously worked in the NHS for many years and has worked on several large projects relating to the implementation of quality control systems which led to the successful accreditation of the British Standard ISO9000 and licensing through the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
