New People Development Workshops
New People Development Workshops

Two new courses have been added to the 2010 programme. The first is on Giving and Receiving Feedback which is aimed at any colleagues who are required to give feedback as part of their role. The second is on Time Management which is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their use of time to achieve their goals. Places can be booked via iTrent Self-Service.

Wellbeing Programme 2010

Our 2010 programme will start in February with National Heart Month. Two sessions on Heart Matters will run in February for which places can be booked via iTrent Self-Service. Each month will see different features based on national awareness initiatives. Further information can be obtained from Saima Kossar in the Safety, Health & Wellbeing team.

Leeds Met Listens: Staff Survey

The survey closed on 4 December with 64% of staff taking the time to respond. We anticipate being in a position to share the outcomes of the survey with staff in February. Our new Vice-Chancellor, Susan Price, is taking a keen interest in the survey and is committed to ensuring that appropriate consultation and action planning take place over the coming months.


Personal Finance Briefings
Personal Finance Briefings

An impartial programme of financial awareness training is being provided which takes the form of a one-hour seminar given by a specially trained presenter. The session is focused on "making the most of your money" and covers such topics as basic financial planning and budgeting, borrowing, insurance, saving and investment and planning for retirement. Places can be booked via iTrent Self-Service.
