If you are an continuing student, you should use last years certificate.

Your Council Tax Exemption Certificate is automatically generated using information from your student record.

You must make sure that all your information is correct (including your current term time address).

If your information is not correct, your certificate:

(1) will show the wrong address and
(2) will be posted to the wrong address.

If you are issued with an incorrect certificate because you have not updated your information, you may be charged for a replacement.

You can check and update your student record information using Update My Data (you can access this via X-Stream). You should do this before you complete the form below.

If you are eligible for a Council Tax Exemption certificate, it will then be sent to you through the post to your term-time address.
