This section of the LTU web site relates to encouraging and utilising student feedback on their learning experience. The focus of these pages is on how the standard university evaluation questionnaire can be utilised and supplemented, and ideas on how response rates can be increased.
Module Evaluation Questionnaire
The university has adopted a standard set of questions for module evaluation. Below you can access instructions on how to implement the standard Health module evaluation questionnaire.
Starting in academic year 2010/2011 most faculty modules are using scannable paper questionnaires prepared and printed by the admin. staff. However, if you prefer you can also use X-Stream delivered questionnaires just the same as previous years. Some module leaders prefer the paper questionnaires since these can be handed out at the start of a class and collected in at the end resulting in a high response rate.
Instruction for scannable paper surveys
Instructions for surveys in X-Stream (PDF).
Please note that if you used this method last year than the survey can be carried over to this year along with
all other course content.
Report: Guidance on Module Evaluation in the Faculty of Health
Advice from the Faculty of Health Technology-Enhanced Learning Group on making module evaluation as effective as possible through increasing response rates and supplementing the standard university evaluation questionnaire.
Please note that this report was created in 2009 when all surveys were implemented in X-Stream. The scannable paper system will be evaluated and information shared here in due course.
