Paul Jukes
BA (Hons) Landscape Architecture
Paul Jukes is 27 years old and will be graduating from BA (Hons) Landscape Architecture. Paul will be working in industry for a year before returning to Leeds Met to complete his one-year postgraduate diploma; once he has completed this he will be fully qualified as a landscape architect. Originally from Nottingham, Paul is looking to do his year in industry back at home.
Speaking about his time at Leeds Met, Paul says he has enjoyed both his course and living in Leeds, he has also made use of the university sports facilities, which he says are very good. Paul, who has been a course representative for two years, said: “The lecturers are the main reason why I came to Leeds Met; they are the best thing about the course and I have learnt a lot from the people who taught me, I respect each and every one of them.”
After Paul has completed his postgraduate diploma he would like to work for a large landscape architecture company and maybe work abroad in the Netherlands or New York.
