Summer Schools
The Get Ahead team hosts a range of summer schools for all ages and interests, from primary to post-16 level. This extensive programme continues to grow in success and popularity every year, bringing together participants from various different backgrounds and cultures.
From sports to performing arts, all the summer schools promise exciting, interactive activities and social events, giving a real taste of university life and providing endless opportunities to meet new people.
Although differing in content, the summer schools' aims remain the same; inspiring, challenging and motivating young people to reach their full potential. Every year the summer schools see participants grow in confidence and maturity, with newfound aspirations for higher education and the future.

"When I first found out about the summer school, I thought that I wouldn't know anyone and it would be boring. In actual fact, the summer school turned out to be very different from my expectations.
