This website is for students studying at Leeds Metropolitan University, and does not provide information about student finance for students studying in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

For more detailed information on student funding, see the various guides published by the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS), which are available to download or from the Leeds Met Helpzones.

The Student Finance Advisers are Mobina Begum, Andrea Simpson and John Tate.

All the advisers are members of the National Association of Student Money Advisers (NASMA) and offer confidential, free and impartial advice covering a range of financial issues; from information about Student Support awards to helping students with complex debt problems.

We offer appointments, term-time drop-in sessions and a telephone advice line (phone 0113 812 5593 on thursday beween 10am and 2pm).  For more information and to check availability, contact one of the Helpzones, situated at the Civic Quarter and Headingley Campuses.
