Christmas Fundraiser 2009
Staff and students came together on 9 and 10 December to raise funds for their favourite Charities and to celebrate the Christmas season. 
Staff Development Festival 2009
This year's Staff Development festival has a theme of "Changing Views" and runs from Tuesday 8th - Friday 11th September. We will have keynote presentations and workshops under 5 different streams. 
Reading & Writing Festival 2009
This year's Reading & Writing Festival will take place from Thursday 23 April to Friday 1 May 2009. 
Carnegie Celtic Festival 2009
25 February to 29 March 2009. This year we sought to broaden our horizons and celebrate all aspects of Celtic heritage and culture in Britain. 
The Festival of Politics and Global Ethics 2009
This Festival took place between 23-27 February and involved a week of free events at Civic Quarter and Headingley Campus which involved debate and discussions of key political and ethical issues facing our world. 
Hong Kong Graduations 2009
Leeds Met celebrated the graduations of Hong Kong students at the 2009 Graduation Ceremonies at Hong Kong Football Club on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 February 2009. 
Festivals of Partnerships for Students 2008/09
The Festival of Partnerships for Students ran from 24 November 2008, until 6 February 2009, and was an opportunity to celebrate the many talents of students, staff and partners who, by working in partnership, are making a difference. 
Christmas Celebrations 2008
Staff and students joined together for a Christmas fundraiser, carol singing with the Black Dyke Band, raffles, mince pies, fundraising and mulled wine. 
Library Festival 2008
Leeds Met's unique Library Festival which ran from 24-28 November was a week of events and activities which saw the Library in new ways, and reminded us of the value of libraries to our learning, leisure and working lives. 
World-Wide Horizons Festival 2008
This festival took place between 17-21 November 2008. Events from daily live music, open lectures, sports tournaments and video-conferencing with overseas partners took place at Civic Quarter and Headingley Campus. 
Winter Graduations 2008
Winter Graduations for international students took place on Friday 14th November. 
Freshers' Festival
This year's action-packed festival got off to a bright start, as students, their families and friends joined us at our stunning Headingley Campus. The sunshine added to the celebratory spirit, as our guests were welcomed by our staff. 
Staff Development Festival 2008
The Staff Development Festival 2008, theme was "Coaching with a difference". Throughout the 2 weeks staff took the opportunity to develop coaching skills, not only looking at how they coach others but also in coaching themselves. 
Adult Learners' Festival 2008
At this three day festival many staff had the opportunity to book a health check, speak to Leeds Met staff on health related issues and our staff development team and RUN partners on vocational, recreational and development courses.
