Professional & Postgraduate Coaching Awards

Coaching is fast becoming established as the essential development option of choice for those who aspire to lead organisations.  Coaching is particularly effective when applied to the top tier of an organisation.  According to the Institute of Directors nearly all the chief executives of FTSE 100 companies employ a coach, demonstrating that they not only appreciate the value of coaching but see it as a route to enhancing their own personal performance.

Further it has been realised that applied to the top team of an organisation coaching can have transformational effects on development of both the team and the whole organisation from basic personal performance to changing the complex embedded corporate culture. This is particularly true when establishments are undergoing considerable change. In these circumstances coaching can help to keep the top team aligned and focused on the critical factors that are imperative for individual and organisational success.

The need for a critical, confidential and independent coach has become more acute as the pace of change has increased rapidly and business leaders need to develop the skills to meet the demands of this dynamic business environment. One-to-one coaching has been seen to be a highly effective management tool improving knowledge transfer as well as increasing employee job satisfaction and work commitment.

What do we do?

Our programmes are uniquely designed by practicing coaches for people who want to build their coaching skills and gain a deep and meaningful understanding of self and how they can enhance their personal coaching practice.

Who Should Attend?

The programme is for anyone who has an interest in employing coaching skills to enhance their own leadership or coaching practice or for those with responsibility for driving organisational change, enhancing executive performance or helping others to enhance their efficacy as a basis for lifestyle development.

Career Opportunities

Coaching has experienced phenomenal growth in recent years.  A survey conducted by the CIPD in June 2010 found that 80% of all UK organisations who responded were using coaching as a development tool.    Holding an established coaching award will qualify you to work as an independent coach specialising in a range of coaching areas such as organisational, lifestyle or executive disciplines.

Finally many experienced executives have found gaining an additional qualification in coaching has enabled them to augment their career opportunities as well as become more effective managers.
