Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour
The work of the Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour group brings together staff with expertise in people management and related areas. Harnessing the talents of staff teams is one route to competitive advantage. In Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour we explore key issues such as influencing skills and obtaining greater performance from staff, including leadership and talent management.

Links with Industry
We have strong links with employers and with professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Events
We passionately believe in bringing our students into contact with top professionals; guest lectures provide an opportunity for students to meet experts from their chosen field. Students can view and book onto events using our latest events section.

Student Opportunities
Students have the opportunity to take part in various business competitions throughout their studies such as the IBM Challenge and the Aviva Future Leaders.
The course has the option of a one-year paid placement to develop hands on HR experience. Many students take a placement year to gain practical experience and to give them a headfirst in the employment market.   Successful completion of the PG Diploma in Human Resource Management leads to professional status as a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.

Staff
The group has global dimensions, with the delivery of the MSc Leadership & Change Management in a number of African nations. The Doctorate in Business Administration is delivered both in the UK and Mauritius, whilst we have significant cohorts joining us from Taiwan and Thailand.
