Chris Hodgson, from Bradford, won a competition set by Lupton Fawcett designed to explore an understanding of what it takes to be a successful business person and which demonstrated his networking skills. Chris is currently taking the PG Dip Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Leeds Law School.
The LPC is the final academic qualification all law students must obtain before they can take up positions as trainee solicitors.
Chris received his prize from Jonathan Warner Reed, a Director in the Dispute Management Department, Nicola Wood, Head of Training, and course tutor Ian Doerfler at Lupton Fawcett's Leeds office. Chris has gained one week's work experience on the firm's highly competitive summer placement scheme.
Lupton Fawcett has offices in Leeds and Sheffield. It employs over 240 staff, of which around 120 are fee earners, making it one of the ten largest law firms in Yorkshire.
Chris commented, "I've spent a day working in different departments at Lupton Fawcett and this has opened my eyes to new possibilities. I would definitely recommend this to anyone serious about developing their legal career."
